Sgt. Thomas E. Goldwater Range east of the Marine Corps Air Station in Yuma, Ariz., Oct. 31, 2009, during the final exercise of the Weapons and Tactics Instructors course. During the exercise, Hercules planes and crew refueled other aircraft midflight, simulated supply air drops and transported personnel and equipment. Students of the biannual course, run by Yuma-based Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron 1, graduated Nov. 1 and will return to their units to serve as instructors on the latest aviation tactics.
