The US Navy’s Blue Angels have been flying since 1946 as one of the world’s premier aerial demonstration teams, performing astonishing and heart-stopping feats as part of their routine at airshows across world. The Angels feature some of the best fighter pilots from across the Navy and Marine Corps flying their F/A-18 Hornets and the C-130 support aircraft. 2013 saw the Angels fleet grounded due to a lack of sufficient funding after the enacting of sequestration in the United States upon the budget.
