Scouts Out! 7-17 CAV Flies Its Last Training Evolution with the OH-58D

On March 20th, soldiers, families and friends stood together at the Sabre Army Heliport on Fort Campbell, KY, as numerous OH-58D Kiowa Warriors with 7th Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment, 159th Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division lifted off on their final training evolution as part of 7-17 CAV. Later this year, 159 CAB will ship all Kiowas in its possession to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base where they’ll be turned over to the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG) for storage. 159 CAB will be inactivated later this year.
